Support Homeless Men & Veterans in Need

Building Hope in Flint & Genesee County

Our Story

Who We Are

Who We Are

My Brother's Keeper of Genesee County was founded in 2005 by a group of concerned community members who wanted to make a difference in the lives of homeless individuals. Since then, we have grown to become one of the largest homeless shelters in the area, and the only shelter with a designated program to assist our Homeless Veterans community.

Who We Are

Who We Are

Who We Are

My Brother’s Keeper is a shelter for homeless men aged 18 and older, and homeless Verteran men in the city of Flint, Michigan with a vision of ending the homeless bench marks in a manner that is polite, ethical and effective.

Mission Statement

Impacting the homeless men of Flint and Genesee County by providing  shelter and life-transitioning opportunities  with dignity, compassion, and respect.

Our Accomplishments

My Brother's Keeper of Genesee County has achieved many milestones over the years, including expanding our facilities, increasing our outreach efforts, and launching new programs to better serve our guests. We are proud of what we have accomplished, but there is still much work to be done.

"Home is not where you live, but where they understand you."
