Building Hope in Flint & Genesee County
My Brother's Keeper of Genesee County was founded in 2005 by a group of concerned community members who wanted to make a difference in the lives of homeless individuals. Since then, we have grown to become one of the largest homeless shelters in the area, and the only shelter with a designated program to assist our Homeless Veterans community.
Impacting the homeless men of Flint and Genesee County by providing shelter and life-transitioning opportunities with dignity, compassion, and respect.
My Brother's Keeper of Genesee County has achieved many milestones over the years, including expanding our facilities, increasing our outreach efforts, and launching new programs to better serve our guests. We are proud of what we have accomplished, but there is still much work to be done.

At My Brother's Keeper of Genesee County, our mission is to provide a safe and supportive environment for homeless men in Flint, Michigan. My Brother's Keeper offers 3 major programs, " In Safe Hands" emergency shelter, Veterans Program, and a lunch program open to the community. Beyond our three core programs, My Brother's Keeper remains committed to meeting immediate needs through our Sandwhich Program- an outreach effort that ensures individuals in our community have access to quick, nourishing meals when they need them most.

At My Brother's Keeper we believe that everyone deserves a safe and stable place to call home. We are committed to providing shelter, support, and resources to those experiencing homelessness in our community. Join us in our mission to end homelessness for good.
